How to Apply for a Computer Number?

Step 1: Sign up on DGCA Pariksha Website

Visit pariksha.dgca.gov.in.
Click on the FLIGHT CREW section and choose NEW CANDIDATE REGISTRATION.
Carefully read and follow the instructions provided on the registration page.
Enter personal details after reading and agreeing to the terms and conditions.
Verify your phone number and email using the OTP sent to you.
Set a password for your Login ID to apply for a Computer Number.

For Private Pilot License applications, you'll need your Class 10 Marksheet and Passing Certificate.
For a Commercial Pilot License, you'll require both Class 10 and Class 12 Marksheet and Passing Certificate for the Computer Number.

Note: You don't need a Computer Number for Class 2 or Class 1 Medical Examinations. These exams can be conducted by a DGCA empanelled doctor without a Computer Number.

Step 3: Documents Upload

Visit the Upload Page to submit digital or scanned copies of all the necessary documents. Be sure these papers corroborate the information provided earlier, such as the class 10 marksheet and pass certificate for confirming your date of birth and parents' names. a). If issued in DGCA's name, send it in a sealed form.

b). If issued in your name, get it attested by a Class 1 Gazetted Officer.

c). If issued in your flying school's name, have it attested by your Chief Flying Officer (CFO).

Handy Tip: Many candidates often fail in their Computer Number Application when the Board Verification is issued in the name of DGCA. This is because the envelope containing the verification document is sealed, making it impossible to upload a soft copy.
